About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a part-time Teller to join its National Branch Network in Aurora, Colorado. This customer-focused, front-line role supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, accurate transaction processing, and welcoming, reliable service. Tellers are a primary customer contact and help identify needs, introduce relevant products, services, and digital tools, and connect customers with bankers for more detailed conversations. The position offers exposure to retail banking and opportunities to build foundational skills, supported by Wells Fargo training, coaching, and a team-based culture. The role requires a schedule that includes Saturdays and is not eligible for Visa sponsorship. The posted base pay range is $20.00–$26.00; employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process routine service transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or an appropriate team member.
Build relationships and listen to understand customers’ everyday financial needs; connect them with relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, exercise sound judgment, and manage risk in line with policies and controls.
Use communication and active listening skills to clarify needs and provide clear solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues for timely resolution.
Follow applicable risk programs, policies, procedures, and compliance obligations; identify and escalate issues and make sound risk decisions.
