Heartland Credit Union is growing and we are looking for three Tellers and one Traveling Teller to work at our brand new Wichita branch that is opening in August! WORK DETAILS Teller position This person will work from one of our Wichita locations until our new branch located at 2191 N. Rock Rd. opens in August! Traveling position This person will be assigned to a branch each day based on staffing needs and will travel frequently to all branches including Hutchinson, Haven, Newton and Wichita. The home branch will be located at 2191 N. Rock Rd.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
Previous customer service and cash handling experience preferred.
Experience working in a financial institution is helpful but not required.
Proficient with technology and variety of software including MS Office: Word, Excel and Outlook.
Well organized and attentive to detail
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to move 30 lbs. occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. frequently.
Stationary for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

Greets customers entering the branch, directs them to the correct staff member for assistance and provides assistance with ATM usage, coin counting machine, safety deposit boxes and other branch services.
Responsible for providing excellent customer service while performing a variety of paying and receiving functions including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashiers' checks, money orders, and cash advances.
Verifies cash totals and balances each day's transactions.
Educate members of credit union products and services.
Balances ATM machines, coin counters, and cash dispensing/recycling machines in a timely and accurate manner.
Ensures members are promptly and professionally served.
Attends meetings and training sessions as required.
Provides superior service to our members.
Proactively support and advance HCU's brand platform.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
