About The Position

At R.I.A. Federal Credit Union, a Teller’s primary focus is to improve the financial well-being of our members. Responsibilities

• Maintain high levels of product/services knowledge to educate members and prospective members.
• Interact with members and prospective members regarding deposit and loan accounts, creating a pleasant in-person experience.
• Perform banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, check cashing, transfers, and other financial transactions.
• Assist in branch opening and closing procedures, which may include processing checks, night drops, or stocking supplies.
• Uncover opportunities to improve members' financial well-being and refer them to the respective teams for additional products or services.
• Adhere to compliance, safety, and security rules and regulations.
• Maintain the security of the work area and keep it organized and neat.
• Balance and handle cash in a safe and secure manner.
