About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Teller to join its National Branch Network. In this customer-focused, front-line role, the Teller supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, accurately completes transactions, and provides a welcoming and reliable experience. The Teller is a primary point of contact for customers and represents the branch through attentive service and care. The role builds foundational banking skills by helping Tellers understand customers’ needs and introduce helpful products, services, and digital tools. Tellers identify opportunities to support customers and connect them with bankers for detailed product conversations. They work with branch teammates to maintain daily operations and provide a consistent customer experience. The stated base pay range is $22.00–$27.50; pay may vary based on factors such as performance, skills, experience, and work location, and employees may be eligible for incentives. Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process routine transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build customer relationships, listen to understand everyday financial needs, and connect customers to relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, use sound judgment, and manage risk according to policies and controls.
Clarify customer needs and provide clear, simple solutions or next steps through effective communication and active listening.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues for timely resolution.
Follow applicable policies and procedures and fulfill risk and compliance responsibilities, including escalating and remediating issues appropriately.
