Key responsibilities include handling various client transactional needs such as deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, credit card advances, money orders, negotiable items, and loan payments. The role also requires responding to client servicing requests, building and maintaining client relationships through in-person and outbound phone interactions, and educating clients on digital banking solutions. Tellers are expected to refer clients to internal business partners when financial needs are identified and support financial center operations, including opening/closing procedures, vault management, and cash drawer balancing. Additionally, the role involves assisting in operational loss management through fraud detection and upholding all risk management, compliance, and security standards. Professionalism in appearance, demeanor, and workstation organization is essential, as is actively managing the lobby by greeting and directing client traffic. The position may also involve performing research, special projects, and other duties as assigned by management.
