About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Teller to join its National Branch Network in a front-line, customer-focused role. The Teller supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, accurately completes transactions, and provides a welcoming and reliable experience. As a primary point of contact, the Teller represents the branch through attentive service, care, and accuracy.

The role builds foundational banking skills by helping the Teller understand customer needs and introduce helpful products, services, and digital tools. The Teller identifies opportunities to assist customers and connects them with the appropriate banker for detailed product conversations. Working with branch teammates, the Teller helps maintain smooth daily operations and a consistent, high-quality customer experience. Wells Fargo describes the position as an entry point to retail banking and long-term career growth, with training, coaching, and a team-based culture.

The position is located at 8595 S Tamiami Trl, Sarasota, Florida 34238-3000. The schedule includes Saturdays. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
• Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.
• Not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process routine transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
• Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
• Build customer relationships, actively listen to understand everyday financial needs, and connect customers to relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
• Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
• Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, exercise sound judgment, and manage risk in accordance with policies and controls.
• Communicate clearly and use active listening to clarify customer needs and provide simple solutions or next steps.
• Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
• Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate complex issues to support timely resolution.
