Security Financial Bank (SFB) is seeking a Full-Time Teller to join our Black River Falls Main Street branch team. As a Teller, you’ll often be the first person customers see when they visit the bank. Whether helping someone cash their paycheck, opening the door for a new relationship, or answering questions with a smile, you'll play an important role in creating a positive banking experience. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday with an occasional rotating Saturday morning (plus Saturday shift differential).

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior customer service and cash-handling experience
  • Knowledge of bank products, services, and various federal regulations is a plus!
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to balance transactions accurately
  • A friendly, professional attitude and willingness to learn
  • Proficiency with computer and comfort learning new systems
  • Must be able to stand and walk the majority of the work shift hours to serve customers at the Teller line and drive-up.
  • Must be able to grasp and lift up to 40 pounds infrequently.
  • Bending, stooping about 5-10% of the workday depending on the day’s job duties (such as vault counts).

Responsibilities

  • Assisting customers with deposits, withdrawals, and other routine transactions
  • Verifying checks, endorsements, and proper identification
  • Balancing your cash drawer daily and assisting with branch balancing tasks
  • Answering customer inquiries in person and by phone, while maintaining confidentiality
  • Referring customers to other SFB team members for specialized services
  • Supporting branch operations and ensuring compliance with regulations
