About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a bilingual Teller to join its National Branch Network in El Paso, Texas. In this customer-focused, front-line role, the Teller supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, accurately completes transactions, and provides a welcoming and reliable experience. The Teller is a primary point of contact for customers and represents the branch through strong service, attention to detail, and care. The role builds foundational retail banking skills by learning about customers’ needs and introducing helpful products, services, and digital tools. The Teller identifies opportunities to support customers and connects them to the appropriate banker for detailed product conversations. The position works closely with branch teammates to support daily operations and a consistent customer experience, with training, coaching, and opportunities for long-term career growth and mobility. The position is located at 6175 Gateway Blvd W, El Paso, TX 79925. The schedule will include Saturdays. Candidates must pass a required language assessment. The position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
Bilingual speaking and listening proficiency in Spanish and English.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.
Must take and pass the required language assessment.

Responsibilities

Accurately process routine transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build customer relationships, listen to understand everyday financial needs, and connect customers with relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, using sound judgment and managing risk in accordance with policies and controls.
Communicate clearly and use active listening to clarify needs and provide simple solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues to support timely resolution.
Follow applicable risk and compliance programs, policies, and procedures; fulfill risk obligations and escalate and remediate issues in a timely manner.
