About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Teller to join its National Branch Network. In this customer-focused, front-line role, the Teller supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, accurately completes transactions, and provides a welcoming and reliable experience. As a primary point of contact, the Teller represents the branch through attentive service, accuracy, and genuine care. The Teller builds foundational banking skills by learning about customer needs and introducing helpful products, services, and digital tools. The role involves identifying opportunities to support customers and connecting them with the appropriate banker for detailed product conversations. The Teller works closely with branch teammates to support daily operations and deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience. The position provides exposure to retail banking and opportunities for career growth supported by Wells Fargo training, coaching, and a team-based culture. The position is located at 3299 El Cajon, San Diego, California 92104, and is part-time. The schedule will include Saturdays. The role is not eligible for Visa sponsorship. The stated base pay range is $22.00–$27.50; pay may vary based on factors including performance, skills, experience, and work location, and employees may also be eligible for incentives.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process routine transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build relationships and actively listen to understand customers’ everyday financial needs.
Connect customers to relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, exercise sound judgment, and manage risk in accordance with policies and controls.
Clarify customer needs using strong communication and active listening skills, and provide clear solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues to support timely resolution.
