About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Teller to join its National Branch Network. In this customer-focused, front-line role, the Teller supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, accurately completing transactions and providing a welcoming, reliable experience. The Teller is a primary point of contact for customers and represents the branch through attentive service and care. The role builds foundational retail banking skills. Tellers learn about customers’ needs, introduce helpful products, services, and digital tools, and connect customers with a banker for detailed product conversations. They work with branch teammates to support smooth daily operations and deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience. Wells Fargo offers training, coaching, and a team-based culture to support growth and career mobility. The schedule includes Saturdays. The position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship. Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process routine transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build customer relationships by listening to understand everyday financial needs and connecting customers to relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, using sound judgment and managing risk in accordance with policies and controls.
Communicate clearly and listen actively to clarify needs and provide straightforward solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues to support timely resolution.
