About The Position
Truliant Federal Credit Union is seeking Tellers who will serve as the first point of contact for members visiting a branch. This role is crucial for creating positive experiences, building trust, and assisting members in achieving their financial goals. The ideal candidate enjoys helping people, excels in a fast-paced setting, and is dedicated to providing exceptional service. As a Teller, you will be a key resource for members, processing transactions accurately, answering inquiries, and guiding them to appropriate solutions. You will also contribute to strengthening member relationships and supporting the branch team's success.
Requirements
- Experience working directly with customers in a service-focused environment.
- Experience handling transactions, cash, records, or other activities requiring a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to provide professional, friendly, and responsive member service.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to accurately process financial transactions and identify discrepancies.
- Proficiency using computer systems and digital tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to follow established procedures, security protocols, and compliance requirements.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Comfortable working in a goal-oriented environment.
- Adapting to changing priorities.
- Building positive relationships with members throughout the day.
Nice To Haves
- One or more years of experience in retail, banking, or financial services.
- Previous sales or referral experience.
- Experience working in a cash-handling environment.
- Familiarity with member relationship management or appointment-setting tools.
