About The Position

This is a part-time Teller position. The role involves handling customer transactions, promoting bank products and services, opening new accounts, and performing ATM/night depository maintenance.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Cash handling experience.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive checks and cash for deposit, verify amounts, and examine checks for endorsements.
• Cash checks and pay out money after verification of signatures and customer balances.
• Enter customers' transactions into computer to record transactions and issue computer-generated receipts.
• Place holds on accounts for uncollected funds.
• Order daily supply of cash, and count incoming cash, including handling large bags of coins.
• Balance currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer at end of shift, comparing totaled amounts with data displayed on computer screen.
• Promote and cross-sell other establishment products and services such as internet banking, cashier’s checks, trust and investment services.
• Open new accounts.
• Load new accounts and account maintenance in Computer System.
• Remove deposits from, and count and balance cash in, automated teller machines and night depository.
