About The Position

Commercial Bank and Trust Company is seeking a Teller to perform various customer service and operational duties. This role involves handling financial transactions, assisting customers with their banking needs, and contributing to the efficient operation of the branch. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to follow procedures accurately.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

Performs the duties of a paying and receiving teller: cashes checks; accepts deposits and loan payments; processes change orders; accepts safety deposit rent; sells Official Checks; completes CTRs as needed; takes check orders; takes stop payments and assists customers with safe deposit box. Scans work.
Balances teller totals and cash items as needed.
Works the weekly Bad Address Report.
Opens Card Machine on a daily basis, adds cards, and balances cards at the end of the day.
Assists customers with Safety Deposit Box entry, rental, surrender and other needs.
Answers phone and assists customer with accounts.
Seeks expanded deposit and loan relationships with customers and sets referral goals.
Assists with branch opening/closing procedures.
Rotates as vault teller and works drive-in window as needed.
Goes to post office and courthouse daily as requested.
Employee has prompt and regular attendance.
Has helpful attitude with co-workers and customers.
Strives to improve the efficiency in his/her work area through cost savings.
Performs other duties assigned by supervisor.
Completes all training assigned by HR, IT, Compliance, BSA, and supervisor on a timely basis.
Follows IT Security Policies and Procedures, including the diligent reporting of phishing emails.
