About The Position

The Teller (Member Service Representative I) position at SchoolsFirst FCU is focused on providing World Class Member service by accurately completing transactions and offering account information. This role involves safeguarding credit union and Member assets through adherence to cash control guidelines. The representative will deliver face-to-face service, offer consultative assistance regarding credit union products and services, and efficiently process Member transactions with a sense of urgency to contribute to departmental goals. Compliance with regulatory requirements, including BSA regulations, is mandatory. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Less than 1 year of prior related experience required
• Participation in the CA DMV pull program may be required depending on assignment

Responsibilities

• Provides World Class Member service by accurately completing transactions and providing account information to Members.
• Follows cash control guidelines to safeguard credit union and Member assets.
• Delivers World Class face-to-face service to Members requesting account assistance.
• Provides consultative services to Members regarding credit union products and services or refers Members to the appropriate teammember to assess the Member's needs, address their concerns and gain agreement.
• Processes Member transactions efficiently and accurately with personal care.
• Contributes to the departmental goals by processing high volume with a sense of urgency.
• Complies with regulatory compliance and assigned training requirements including but not limited to BSA regulations corresponding to their specific job duties.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
• Performs other duties as assigned
