The Teller I works in a TD Store location and plays a key role in delivering legendary customer experiences while processing everyday banking transactions with accuracy and efficiency. This role also involves educating customers on TD's products and services or referring them to a partner for specialized solutions. The Teller I is responsible for consistently executing appropriate behaviors to deliver a Legendary Customer experience, understanding customer preferences, educating them on self-service/digital options, and acting as an advocate by conducting needs-based conversations. They offer financial & digital solutions or refer customers to appropriate partners. The position requires making sound decisions, providing timely problem resolution, and escalating difficult issues to management. Ensuring compliance with company guidelines and regulations like the Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act is crucial to minimize risk and protect customers. Key operational tasks include verifying customer identities, balancing cash drawers, ATMs, and Teller Cash Dispensers/Recyclers, adhering to safe deposit box procedures, and maintaining appropriate cash limits and security for cash drawers and vaults. The Teller I is accountable for securely storing confidential customer information, understanding and following dual control, and implementing all security and audit measures to prevent fraud. All required in-classroom and online training must be completed by established due dates.
