The Teller serves as a first point of contact for customers by providing FirstBank service excellence, processing transactions in accordance with bank policies and procedures, assisting with customer inquiries, and recognizing/referring cross-sell opportunities as appropriate. This role involves assisting customers with transactional needs according to established guidelines and service standards, maintaining daily operational standards such as cash drawer security and balancing, and demonstrating knowledge of available products and digital solutions. The Teller is also responsible for protecting the bank from unnecessary risk by adhering to bank procedures, confidentiality guidelines, and security protocols, while providing consistent and distinctive service. The position serves both internal co-workers and external customers and requires a foundational understanding of banking industry regulatory compliance.
