General Description Provides courteous and professional teller service to customers. Completes transactions accurately and efficiently according to established policies and procedures. Identify referral opportunities and make appropriate suggestions that best meet the customers needs. Consistently seek to delight our customers by friendliness, including learning our customers and addressing them by name. Required to work some Saturday mornings. Reliable attendance is critical. RESPONSIBILITIES Processes transactions accurately and efficiently Smiles and greet customers, demonstrates good customer service skills Identify customer needs, and strive to meet those needs or direct customer to someone that can Controls teller cash drawer limits Follow bank security policies and procedures such as opening and closing procedures and maintaining alarm codes and functions Maintains an acceptable over/short difference Cashes checks within assigned limits Accepts deposit withdrawals and payments Issues official checks Redeems savings bonds Process night deposits under dual control Uses a personal computer to enter customer transactions and look up customer information Back up Head Teller as needed with ATM, Vault, and Cash shipments Back up Customer Service Representative as needed Maintains knowledge of bank products, policies, and procedures Keeps up to date with required Compliance courses and appropriate tests Follows proper procedures to comply with BSA, including but not limited to OFAC scans and CTR filings Fills in as needed at other CBC locations The above requirements may be changed or updated by management at any time All personnel of Commercial Banking Company are committed to the Bank Secrecy Act policies and procedures in order to assist in detecting and preventing money laundering and other illegal activities from being conducted through our bank.
