About The Position

Watertown Savings Bank is seeking a Teller 1 for their Commerce Park Drive location. The objective of this role is to represent Watertown Savings Bank in a courteous and professional manner, providing prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service. This includes handling cash transactions, recognizing customer needs, and suggesting appropriate bank services. The Teller 1 must adhere to established policies and procedures, acting with sound judgment and knowledge of banking products.

Requirements

Represent Watertown Savings Bank in a courteous and professional manner.
Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer services.
Recognize customers’ needs with suggestions appropriate to the Bank’s services.
Exercise sound judgment and knowledge of all banking products.
Follow established policies and procedures.
Sedentary to medium physical demands.
May exert up to 50 lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently or up to 10 lbs of force constantly to move objects.
Daily movement includes, but is not limited to holding, grasping, turning or otherwise working with hand or hands.

Responsibilities

Accepts checks for cashing, receives checking and related accounts; accepts deposits, verifies cash and endorsements, makes change, and issues receipts.
Receives savings deposits, pays withdrawals after verifying balance and signature; redeems U. S. Savings Bonds.
Receives loan payments when payment due notice or installment loan coupon accompanies payment.
Performs various balancing functions, including ATM’s.
Processes night deposits and mail in deposits.
Sells money orders, cashiers checks and other Bank services.
Responds to customers’ inquiries as appropriate.
Maintains proper cash level in drawers, keeps cash secure, and maintains a high level of safety for the Bank.
Services the ATM according to the schedule or need.
Complete address changes, check orders, research requests.
