About The Position

Centurion Health is seeking a per diem Telepsychiatrist to provide services to State Correctional Institutions in Pennsylvania. This role involves at least two days of availability per month. Centurion Health has been a partner with the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections since 2003, offering comprehensive mental healthcare services. The position offers a clinically rich and diverse patient population, allowing for meaningful patient interaction and follow-up. The Psychiatrist will perform psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatments, working under the supervision of the Psychiatric Medical Director and providing clinical leadership to a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

MD or DO.
Active, unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license and DEA.
BE/BC
Successfully complete a security clearance process as required by the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections.

Responsibilities

Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis and treatment for patients.
Work under the supervision of the Psychiatric Medical Director.
Provide clinical leadership for a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to patients with psychiatric disorders or other mental health issues.
