The switchboard operation is manned 16 hours per day, 365 days per year, with holidays and other shifts rotated to accommodate staffing needs.
Requirements
- United States Citizenship
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming calls to proper departments
- Monitor code blue, fire, and gas alarm panels
- Alert staff of emergency codes via paging systems and overhead announcements
- Page on call physicians and medical staff when needed
- Document and log all codes and call activity daily
