At Regions Hospital, a Level I Trauma Center, every call matters. As a Telephone Operator, you are often the first point of contact for patients, families, physicians, emergency responders, and staff. Your ability to remain calm, professional, and attentive helps ensure critical information reaches the right people at the right time. As point of contact, this role navigates all internal and external customer calls. This role works collaboratively to determine call destination, routes calls appropriately, and navigates other requests such as pager activation, transportation and ad hoc projects. This role also responds to all emergent calls and notifications in timely manner following proper hospital procedure.
