About The Position

The Telephone Operator / PBX Operator serves as a primary point of contact for Manatee Memorial Hospital by professionally managing incoming and outgoing telephone communications. This role is responsible for operating the hospital’s telephone and paging systems, routing calls accurately and efficiently, and supporting communication needs during routine operations and emergency situations. The Telephone Operator plays a critical role in patient experience, safety, and hospital operations by ensuring timely, courteous, and accurate communication across departments, providers, patients, and the public. Requirements

High School Diploma/GED required
Previous experience in a telecommunications role or customer service, preferably in a healthcare setting.
