About The Position

This position identifies and communicates cardiac rhythm irregularities to other team members. This position provides for coverage and observation of cardiac monitors. Communicates changes in cardiac rhythm and recognition of life threatening dysrhythmia.

Requirements

  • Possess knowledge of basic medical terminology, basic computer skills, telephone skills, and English
  • Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Completion of a Cardiac Monitor Technician program designed for unlicensed health care providers
  • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
  • Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
  • Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
  • Must be able to provide proof of work authorization
