About The Position
HSHS St. Vincent Hospital is seeking a Telemetry Technician to join our Intensive Care unit. Telemetry Technicians observe telemetry monitors and work collaboratively with nursing staff to ensure consistent patient safety.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Successfully complete basic EKG training at the first offering and 16 hours of 12-lead EKG training within 3 months of hire
- Certification by the State as Certified Medical Assistant Certified Nurse Assistant Licensed Paramedic Licensed LPN with EKG training or a RN nursing student with EKG training required in WI.
Nice To Haves
- 1 year Telemetry experience
- 2 years' experience in the medical field
- Certification in cardiac technology by the American Cardiology Association
- Certification by the State as Certified Medical Assistant Certified Nurse Assistant Licensed Paramedic Licensed LPN with EKG training or a RN nursing student with EKG training preferred in IL.
