About The Position
Provide continuous EKG monitoring and interpret heart rhythms, including lethal arrhythmias, notifying appropriate staff when arrhythmias occur. Oversee the care, maintenance, tracking, and servicing of telemetry equipment. Report equipment problems to the Telemetry Manager and/or the Bio Med Department.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Rhythm Recognition Course Certificate.
- Successfully complete the CMH Telemetry Technician competency within three months of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Six months of telemetry monitoring experience.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
