About The Position

Telemetry Technicians observe telemetry monitors and work collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team to provide safe patient care. They are accountable for providing direct and non-direct patient care according to their scope of practice and must understand and react effectively to the unique needs of all patients. This role offers a great opportunity to gain hospital experience.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Successfully complete basic EKG training at the first offering and 16 hours of 12-lead EKG training within 3 months of hire

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of Telemetry experience preferred
• 2 years of experience in the medical field preferred
• Certification in cardiac technology by the American Cardiology Association
