About The Position

This role involves monitoring live cardiac patterns on telemetric devices to identify and track subtle changes in real-time. The technician will track and record irregular rhythms or shifts in heartbeat activity to maintain precise, high-quality data for the clinical team. They will also forward cardiac changes immediately to nurses and attending physicians, ensuring rapid analysis and timely, life-saving interventions. Additionally, the technician will maintain all telemetry monitoring equipment and manage supply inventory to ensure tracking systems are always fully operational and ready for use.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
  • Prior telemetry / cardiac monitoring experience.
