About The Position

Telemetry Technician at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. This posting represents a .6 FTE, day shift opening (7am-7:30pm, 2, 12 hour shifts per week) with every other weekend and rotating holidays. Requirements

• Satisfactory completion of a Medical terminology course, or equivalent education/experience.
• Completion of a basic ECG course, or completion within 30 days of hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring, documenting, and reporting the ECG activity of patients on the telemetry unit.
• Serving as a communication link with the RN regarding changes in cardiac rhythms.
