About The Position

This is a part-time, night shift position for a Telemetry Tech at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. The role involves the continuous monitoring of telemetry patients under the supervision of the Charge Nurse or Clinical Nurse Manager. The Telemetry Tech will observe telemetry monitors, report changes to the RN, maintain documentation and equipment, and collaborate with the RN to meet patient and department needs. Mandatory education and contact education requirements include 12 CEUs per year.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Demonstrates knowledge of medical terminology
• Demonstrates an independent work initiative, sound judgment and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Observes telemetry monitors and reports changes/problems to the RN promptly.
• Maintains appropriate telemetry documentation and records.
• Maintains all necessary telemetry equipment and supplies.
• Works collaboratively with the RN in charge to meet physicians, coworkers, management and other department needs.
• Completes mandatory education and contact education requirements including 12 CEUs per year.
