About The Position

Functions as a clerk/receptionist for the ICU. Assists with patient care. Acts as a cardiac monitor technician. The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a specialized section of our hospital that provides comprehensive and continuous care for persons who are critically ill and can benefit from treatment. Montrose Regional Health's ICU has the tools and medical professionals to manage critical care patients and assist them in their greatest time of need. Combining the latest in healthcare technology with a highly qualified and trained staff.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic cardiac rhythm interpretation skills (or demonstrated ability to acquire needed skills).
• BCLS required upon hire.
• Basic arrhythmia class required within 6 months of hire.
• Encompasses a range of technical and supportive functions which include communication, problem solving, and prioritizing skills.

Nice To Haves

• Computer skills preferred.
