About The Position
We are seeking experienced Telemetry RNs with at least two years of hospital telemetry experience. The ideal candidate will understand cardio version and transesophageal echocardiograms. We conduct EKG testing on-site during orientation. We need true Tele RNs accustomed to a 1:4 patient ratio and double experience or step-down experience (2 years). We have encountered issues with Medsurg/Tele RNs not being accustomed to the higher acuity.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of telemetry experience in a hospital setting.
- Understanding of cardioversion procedures.
- Understanding of transesophageal echocardiograms.
- Experience with a 1:4 patient ratio.
- Experience in step-down units or equivalent higher acuity care.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patient telemetry data.
