About The Position

Amentum is seeking a Telemetry/RF Engineering Supervisor to support the Space Force Range Contract (SFRC). This role primarily involves leading Telemetry team activity for the Eastern Launch & Test Range (ER) to accomplish SFRC objectives and requirements. The supervisor will guide team members, ensure successful planning and execution of engineering activities in concert with other stakeholders, and support engineering efforts for the sustainment, maintenance, and operation of the LTRS. Additionally, the role includes ensuring personnel are properly trained, utilizing resource management tools, identifying and resolving technical issues, monitoring workflow, and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills with ability to effectively manage competing demands, prioritize appropriately, and oversee multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written for presentation and facilitation activities.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with both internal and external customers is essential.
  • Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math).
  • 5+ years of engineering experience with the emphasis on RF and Telemetry.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship.
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Telemetry team activity for the Eastern Launch & Test Range (ER) to accomplish the SFRC objectives and requirements.
  • Guide team members in understanding company vision and principles.
  • Work in concert with other engineering and department stakeholders to ensure successful planning and execution of engineering activities.
  • Support engineering efforts to support sustainment, maintenance, and operation of the LTRS.
  • Ensure personnel are properly trained to execute their responsibilities and receive initial and recurring guidance, coaching, mentoring, instructions, and direction needed to ensure quality and timely service.
  • Support execution and improvements to SFRC Engineering processes and procedures.
  • Utilize resource management data tools to identify and resolve resource issues and support escalation and communication to management.
  • Identify and support the resolution of technical issues and handle escalation and communication to management.
  • Monitor workflow to ensure delivery of products on time in accordance with SFRC requirements.
