About The Position

This role involves providing continuous ECG monitoring through the assessment and interpretation of EKG strips, including cardiac rhythms, dysrhythmias, and measurements of P-R intervals, QRS widths, and ST segment deviations. The technician will also be responsible for troubleshooting monitoring problems, identifying causes, and seeking solutions. Additionally, the role includes maintaining inventories of supplies, hardware, and telemetry transmitters, ensuring they are in working condition, and promptly reporting any malfunctions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
• No experience required.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of experience as a monitor technician preferred.
• Certification as a Certified Cardiac Monitor Telemetry Technician (CCMTT) through the American Education Certification Association preferred.
• Certification as a Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International preferred.

Responsibilities
