Join the Continuous Monitoring Unit (CMU) as a Telemetry Monitor Technician! This night position is part-time at 24 hours per week. The Telemetry Monitor Technician is responsible for the continuous observation, analysis, and interpretation of cardiac rhythms. Collaborates with the health care team to initiate, monitor, and communicate findings during telemetry monitoring patients at risk of harm due to medical conditions. This role supports high-quality, patient-centered care by promptly recognizing and identifying changes in cardiac rhythms or patient status and communicating the changes to the clinical team. Initiates code and rapid response teams for patients at risk of death or serious harm. The telemetry monitor technician ensures patient safety and operational excellence. The Telemetry Monitor Technician maintains accurate documentation, contributes to efficient workflows, and maintains inventory of equipment including storage, cleaning, troubleshooting and associated telemetry needs. The Monitor Technician demonstrates a commitment to patient centered care, safety, quality, and service excellence. The role collaborates effectively with interdisciplinary teams and contributes to a culture of accountability, respect and teamwork.
