Join the Continuous Monitoring Unit (CMU) as a Telemetry Monitor Technician! This full-time position is responsible for the continuous observation, analysis, and interpretation of cardiac rhythms. The role collaborates with the health care team to initiate, monitor, and communicate findings for patients at risk of harm due to medical conditions. This role supports high-quality, patient-centered care by promptly recognizing and identifying changes in cardiac rhythms or patient status and communicating these changes to the clinical team. The technician initiates code and rapid response teams for patients at risk of death or serious harm, ensuring patient safety and operational excellence. The Telemetry Monitor Technician maintains accurate documentation, contributes to efficient workflows, and manages inventory of equipment including storage, cleaning, troubleshooting, and associated telemetry needs. The Monitor Technician demonstrates a commitment to patient-centered care, safety, quality, and service excellence, collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams and contributing to a culture of accountability, respect, and teamwork.
