About The Position
The Telemetry Monitor Technician is responsible for monitoring patient cardiac rhythms and alerting appropriate personnel to any changes or abnormalities. This role requires a high school education, the ability to understand medical terminology, and CPR certification. Previous experience and knowledge of dysrhythmia interpretation and computer literacy are preferred.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent education, including ability to read, write and comprehend medical terminology.
- CPR certification.
Nice To Haves
- Completion of basic dysrhythmia course and understanding of rhythm interpretation preferred.
- Previous experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
- Computer literacy preferred.
