About The Position

Provides EKG monitoring services under the supervision of a registered nurse. Supports an organizational culture of Service Excellence and applies Service Excellence Standards when interacting with customer groups. Provides EKG monitoring and documentation, helps maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, and employees, reports patient-safety risks to the R.N., implements appropriate precautions, and complies with approved standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Successful completion of an EKG class and/or successful completion of an EKG examination.

Responsibilities

• Provide EKG monitoring and documentation.
• Help provide a safe environment for patients, visitors, and employees.
• Report risks to patient safety to the R.N. and implement appropriate precautions.
• Comply with appropriate and approved standards.
• Practice Service Excellence Standards with customer groups.
