About The Position

We are seeking a specialized Telemedicine Psychologist with a focus on Virtual Care to provide outpatient services. This role involves conducting adult individual therapy sessions, performing patient intakes, and follow-up consultations. The position requires proficiency in short-term therapeutic interventions (8-12 weeks) and mandatory competence in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for Depression. Familiarity with Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) is beneficial. Patients requiring medication management will be referred to a Psychiatry physician. The anticipated appointment structure includes individual sessions scheduled for 1 hour each. Preference will be given to candidates with EPIC experience, though general EMR and technology integration proficiency is essential. The role does not involve traditional on-call duties, but practitioners must be able to guide patients reaching out after hours.

Requirements

• Board Certified
• Active California state license
• ACLS certification (from the American Heart Association)
• Proficiency in short-term therapeutic interventions (8-12 weeks)
• Competence in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for Depression
• Solid proficiency in general EMR and technology integration
• Ability to provide guidance to patients reaching out after hours
