South Carolina - Telemedicine Primary Care
About The Position
Circle Medical is seeking Telemedicine Family/Internal Medicine Providers for an adult-only primary care practice. The practice focuses on empanelment of primary care providers to ensure high-quality, continuous care through a telemedicine-first approach. They utilize a proprietary, HIPAA-compliant EHR for video-audio appointments. The role involves a fee-for-service model with potential for incentive programs. Providers are supported by patient care advocates and a licensed medical team. A high degree of technical skill and adaptability to fast-paced improvements is required. The practice is in-network with most PPO insurance plans.
Requirements
- Completed an accredited medical program with a national certification.
- Currently licensed in South Carolina.
- Valid South Carolina DEA Registration in good standing with all schedules to prescribe medications, including S2.
- Board Certified in Family or Internal Medicine.
- Commitment to evidence-based medicine.
- Willingness to learn how to diagnose and treat a variety of adult/primary care conditions.
- A PC with Windows 11 Pro or a Mac newer than 2021 is required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as primary care providers in a clinical setting.
- At least 3 years post-residency practice experience for NP/APRNs.
- At least 2 years post-residency practice experience for Physicians.
Responsibilities
- Provide primary care through telemedicine using video-audio appointments.
- Focus on empanelment of primary care providers for continuity of care.
- Utilize proprietary, HIPAA-compliant EHR software.
- Work with patient care advocates and a licensed medical team for patient care and follow-up.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of adult/primary care conditions.
- Prescribe medications, including S2.
- Help patients understand their insurance coverage.
