About The Position

The Telemarketer is responsible for supporting a select team of Sales Representatives. The primary goal of this position is to increase sales revenue and profit by 25% to assigned Sales Representatives. Responsible for tracking, managing, and building Compass database.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED or higher
  • Written and verbal communications skills are a must
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with customers in a professional manner
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively with both co-workers and customers, and enter data into the computer

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with scanning and imaging technologies is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Make 100+ cold calls per day prospecting new customers and identify their needs
  • Overcome objections
  • Offer customers all products the GFI Digital, Inc. sells
  • Identify opportunities within target organizations
  • Participate in marketing efforts. (i.e., web, email, direct mail, etc)
  • Add additional businesses to Compass through daily research outside of Compass
  • Identify and maintain all accounts through search criteria: Major Account, Top Account, and Bottom 400 (totaling 600 accounts per Sales Representative)
  • Complete designated Compass TCO for all accounts identified (such as competitor info, equipment details, and lease end dates)
  • Responsible for setting appointments for outside Sales Representatives
  • Communicate daily with assigned Sales Representatives
  • Set activities and remind with an email of appointments at the end of each session
  • Record all activities in Compass database after each contact
  • Maintain a 3-month forecast of accounts to close
  • Weekly track calls to meet performance target
  • Have daily database entries checked
  • Track activity via spreadsheet and month at a glance calendars
  • Run weekly reports for tracking
  • 800-1000 calls per week
  • Set 25-45 appointments per week
  • Enter all activities generated from inside and outside Sales Representatives into Compass daily
  • Educate self on product knowledge and sales techniques through company provided and self-initiated training
  • Generate and meet all “Draw” and “Activity” requirements
  • Work toward ETR statutes
