About The Position

Executive Mental Health (EMH) has been providing Telehealth services since 2020, offering remote assessment and treatment for cognitive, behavioral, and emotional conditions. Their HIPAA-compliant videoconferencing platform allows patients to receive care without leaving their homes or care facilities. The Telehealth Medical Assistant acts as a 'Telehealth Concierge,' ensuring patients receive quality care from clinicians while adhering to safety measures. This role coordinates visits, transports Telehealth equipment between patient rooms, and provides a warm introduction before therapy sessions. The assistant collaborates closely with EMH clinicians, liaisons, and facility staff, helping to build rapport, identify potential patients, and facilitate referrals.

Requirements

  • In-person visits to all Skilled Nursing locations are required.
  • Experience in infection control and PPE.
  • Must pass a background check.
  • Must have active cellular service for communication with staff.

Responsibilities

  • Visit assigned skilled nursing facilities for daily work assignments.
  • Transport Telehealth equipment from patient to patient for Telehealth Services at partner skilled nursing facilities.
  • Assist Clinical Staff Team Members by discussing Telehealth services with new patients.
  • Coordinate care with both Clinical Staff and Facility Staff.
  • Provide and gather patient’s medical documentation as instructed by clinical staff member.
  • Manage daily preparation checklist for equipment care (sanitization, recharging, safe keeping/storage).
  • Work closely and provide follow up with facility staff members as needed.
  • Develop a working knowledge of the Telehealth web application (Doxy).
  • File clinical documentation as directed by facility staff.
  • Provide technology troubleshooting (general knowledge of WIFI, internet connectivity).
  • Provide live support as needed.
  • Be able to lift a minimum of 35 lbs.
  • Adhere to all standards found within the HIPAA Compliance Privacy Regulations.
