About The Position

The Telehealth Coordinator reports directly to the Telehealth Manager and serves on the Operations Team. This role involves building and maintaining relationships, recruiting and supporting telehealth volunteers, patients, and partners, and maintaining operational familiarity with telehealth processes, software, and equipment. The coordinator will also monitor industry trends, manage EHR records, calculate the Value of Care, and write SOPs. They will stay updated on telehealth best practices and equipment, lead telehealth events (requiring weekend work and travel), and recommend program improvements. The role requires planning and executing telehealth events, attending conferences for professional development, and performing various administrative tasks as directed.

Requirements

  • Basic technology troubleshooting skills (software and hardware).
  • Knowledge of or willingness to learn telehealth relevant software, hardware, and connectivity.
  • Significant overnight and multi-day travel.
  • Frequent non-standard workdays and work hours.
  • Must be able to stand/sit for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift 40lbs.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to drive RAM vehicles.
  • Must be able to obtain a DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
  • Must be willing to drive RAM vehicles on overnight/multi-day deployments.
  • Must be proficient in verbal, nonverbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining strategic relationships with supervisors, personnel, volunteers, and partners.
  • Mobilizing, recruiting, securing, training, supporting, and serving telehealth volunteers and partners.
  • Recruiting, securing, and serving telehealth patients.
  • Maintaining operational familiarity with telehealth processes, software, equipment, and vehicles.
  • Monitoring industry trends for opportunities.
  • Securely maintaining RAM Electronic Health Records (EHR), calculating the Value of Care, reporting telehealth activity, and writing/maintaining SOPs.
  • Gaining familiarity with new telehealth patient best practices, products, services, and equipment.
  • Working multiple weekends per year by leading telehealth events remotely and in-person, including weekend travel.
  • Recommending program opportunities, processes, procedures, and policies to improve department objectives.
  • Planning, executing, and acting as the 'Final Authority' at all assigned telehealth events, activities, and operations.
  • Attending conferences and training for professional development.
  • Performing a variety of tasks as directed by the RAM chain of command.
