About The Position

Works under the direction of the manager to facilitate daily operations, including patient flow, staffing assignments, safe patient care and to promote a healthy work environment at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Will manage a team of Telehealth RNs, that respond to calls from parents when local pediatricians' offices are closed. Will do scheduling, quality reviews, training and staffing (as needed). The role is Part-time; Hours are 3PM-9PM; some weekends will be required.

Requirements

1 year of RN experience
Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the single State of Georgia or Multi-State through the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Pediatric Emergency Assessment Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) within 1 year of employment as required by department
Professional Nursing Certification deemed by department required upon one year of hire
Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

Pediatrics highly preferred
Previous experience in Emergency, Urgent Care and/or Primary Care highly preferred
Previous management or leadership experience highly preferred
Previous experience in Telehealth/Advice Line highly preferred
