About The Position
Firma Concrete is hiring a Telehandler Operator to join our growing team. This full-time position is based in Edmonton & Area, with a wage of $30.00 – $38.00/hr, based on experience. The role involves operating telehandlers on active construction sites, loading and unloading materials, performing equipment inspections, and working closely with various construction crews. Safety and adherence to site procedures are paramount.
Requirements
- Previous telehandler or zoom boom experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Strong safety awareness and communication skills.
- CSTS 2020 required.
Nice To Haves
- Valid certification considered an asset.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate telehandlers on active construction sites.
- Load, unload, and distribute materials to crews.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks.
- Work closely with concrete, carpentry, and labour crews.
- Follow site safety requirements, FLHAs, and company procedures.
- Assist with general site duties when equipment is not in use.
