About The Position

DCM Inc. is seeking passionate and motivated individuals to join their telemarketing team as Telefundraising Representatives for the Guthrie Theater. This part-time, work-from-home position involves contacting existing Guthrie Theater patrons and donors to raise funds and support the theater's programming and outreach initiatives. The role requires individuals with fundraising or sales experience, computer savviness, and the ability to close sales and raise money persuasively. No cold calling is involved, as all leads are existing patrons or donors. Successful candidates will receive paid training and must be available to work 16 hours per week. This position is open to applicants in NY, NJ, CT, MA, IL, and CA.

Requirements

  • Fundraising/Sales experience required.
  • Computer savvy.
  • Must have a desktop or laptop.
  • Must have High Speed Internet.
  • Must have a Headset with a microphone.
  • Must be articulate and persuasive.
  • Must be able to follow a script, memorize it, and sound authentic and natural.
  • Must be able to consistently CLOSE SALES and RAISE MONEY.
  • Must be available to attend paid training on Monday, July 6th, 4:30 pm-8:30 pm CST.
  • Must be able to work 16 hours per week: Mon-Thu 4:30-8:30 pm CST, Fri-Sat 10 am-2 pm CST.
  • Must be working from one of the following states to be eligible: NY, NJ, CT, MA, IL, CA.
