Leidos Engineering is seeking an experienced Telecommunications Project Manager to join our Strategic Program Consulting team. The Project Manager will be part Leidos' Power Delivery Solutions (PDS) Division that provides consulting services to both public-owned and investor-owned electric utilities. These consulting services provide clients with overall project management tasks in the areas of comprehensive engineering design of electrical transmission and distribution, substation and transmission line projects nationwide. This role will have client facing responsibilities and requires expertise in navigating the regulatory landscape and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end project management for telecom infrastructure initiatives within the Capital Transmission portfolio Plan and execute circuit cutovers in coordination with Verizon and internal stakeholders Manage programs focused on copper circuit abandonment and transition to modern communication systems Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, IT/telecom, and external vendors Ensure alignment with capital project governance, budgeting, and reporting requirements Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies, particularly around service continuity during cutovers Track project performance (scope, schedule, cost) and provide regular status updates to leadership Manage vendor performance and ensure deliverables meet contractual and technical requirements Support permitting, compliance, and documentation requirements associated with telecom and transmission work Drive stakeholder communication across business units and external partners
