About The Position

Under close supervision, performs work activities and projects requiring technical knowledge in a safe, effective, efficient and economic accomplishment of assigned objectives. This role involves coordinating planning, engineering teams, operations, and external stakeholders to ensure project requirements are executed in alignment with business objectives. It also includes managing project intake and work assignment processes, providing administrative and organizational support for engineering teams, and participating in company and contractor meetings covering outage/project schedule, safety issues, and operations and maintenance of equipment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited university or college; OR an Associate's degree and 2 years of experience in the design, operations, planning, construction, or maintenance of systems and/or equipment; OR a high school diploma or GED and 4 years of experience in the design, operations, planning, construction, or maintenance of systems and/or equipment.
  • No additional work experience required beyond the education and experience combinations listed above for the Associate SG5 level.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited university or college; OR an Associate's technical degree and 3 years of experience in the design, operations, planning, construction, or maintenance of systems and/or equipment; OR a high school diploma or GED and 5 years of experience in the design, operations, planning, construction, or maintenance of systems and/or equipment for the SG6 level.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in work activities and projects requiring technical knowledge for the SG6 level.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate planning, engineering teams, operations, and external stakeholders to ensure project requirements are executed in alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage project intake and work assignment processes, prioritizing requests, maintaining project tracking, and route work to the appropriate engineer.
  • Provide administrative and organizational support for engineering teams.
  • Perform varied assignments demonstrating technical knowledge and analytical techniques to solution of problems or analysis.
  • Participate in company and contractor meetings covering outage/project schedule, safety issues and operations and maintenance of equipment.
  • Participate in the planning and organization of outage/project work activities.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical reports and papers.
  • Apply problem solving skills to resolve technical problems and initiate solution techniques.
  • Work with others in both supplying information and seeking assistance as necessary.
