About The Position
Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire a Telecommunications Operator who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.
Requirements
- High School Graduate/GED or equivalent years of experience
- At least one (1) year experience as an operator in a hospital setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Relay incoming, outgoing and interoffice telephone calls.
- Operate in-house, long range and overhead paging systems, announcing all codes and RR.
- Function as patient information operator.
- Monitor alarms and notifies appropriate personnel.
- Process long distance calls for hospital staff, as needed.
- Additional duties as assigned.
