About The Position

The Telecommunications Operator answers and screens incoming telephone calls and follows through with appropriate action. The operator pages authorized personnel, monitors alarms, responds appropriately to emergency signals such as fire, STAT, and Code Blue, and distributes and maintains pocket pagers. The role also provides hospital answering service and maintains an accurate on-call schedule. Other duties may be required.

Requirements

• Experience working with all levels within an organization.
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word, or similar software.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
