OmniOn Power currently has a Telecommunications Installer DC (Level III) opportunity available. This role will be 100% remote with overnight travel to customer sites in a regional area. Periodic travel may be required outside of the geographical region. The preferred location for this role is Los Angeles, CA.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Three years of experience in Telecom DC power equipment installation
- Two years of experience in pulling & sewing cable, construction of cable racking, bay mounting
- Valid driver's license
- Computer skills including Microsoft Outlook / Excel / Word
- Ability and willingness to travel 100% of the time
- Ability and willingness to work varying shifts (swing shifts)
- Legally authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities
- Lead small to medium sized service projects.
- Ensure on-time completion and quality of the installation project.
- Responsible for inventory and staging of equipment and materials.
- Provide weekly status reports to supervisor.
- Read and interpret specifications and drawings.
- Assist Level IV Technician on lead verification (voltage).
- Add or remove DC power systems, batteries, and common systems equipment hardware.
- Support installation and commissioning of wireless, datacenter, and electric vehicle (EV) charging equipment.
- Comply with all EHS and regulatory guidelines.
- Work on the addition or removal of wiring and connections on working and non-working DC power equipment.
- Responsible for weekly tool inventory.
- Write and submit the MOP (Method of Procedure) and JIM (Job Information Memorandum).
- Responsible for timesheet for self and crew.
- Ensure safety adherence.
- Perform jobsite house cleaning.
